He has an extensive background in cybersecurity and digital forensics from the Norwegian Police Security Service and Palo Alto Networks. Jonas holds a BSc from the University of South Wales and accredited courses from the Norwegian Police University College.

Chief Financial Officer

Peter co-founded Chainlayer with Christian Andersen in 2019. Peter is a blockchain veteran and hands-on leader who has grown Chainlayer into the well-respected company it is today. Before founding Chainlayer, Peter worked for large financial institutions such as Rabobank and ING in various roles.

Christian

Chief Technology Officer

Christian is a blockchain veteran and has been experimenting with anything the crypto sphere has to offer. Before co-founding ChainLayer, he worked for the Norwegian Armed forces, Norwegian Police Security Service, and Telenor.

Jesse

DevOps Engineer

Jesse plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Chainlayer’s technology. As a DevOps engineer, he works to develop and maintain systems across all blockchains. A true jack of all trades and an avid car racer.

Karim

Senior DevOps Engineer

Karim has been working in the IT industry for over ten years. He has a broad skillset with a background in infrastructure, operations, and, later on, development. Karim is a big fan of automation and is always looking for ways to improve workflows. He is a firm believer in open source and is always looking for ways to contribute to the community.

Lazar

DevOps Engineer

Lazar is a master’s degree candidate in data security at the University of Oslo (UiO) and a key member of our blockchain infrastructure team. He is responsible for maintaining and expanding our blockchain infrastructure, ensuring its continued stability and security. In addition to his technical expertise, he enjoys playing drums and pushing cars to their limits.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Jiri has an extensive background in IT systems and infrastructure administration. He has solid experience in automation, monitoring, and security. Besides his technical interests, he is also an experienced mountain guide.

Filip

Infrastructure Engineer

Filip is responsible for the infrastructure's design, implementation, and maintenance. Soon he will graduate from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) with a Master's in cybersecurity and digital forensics. His passion is blockchain technology.

Joakim

Front-End Developer

Joakim is responsible for crafting engaging front-end experiences. With a rich multimedia design and concept development background, he translates designs into intuitive interfaces, ensuring seamless user journeys. Joakim is a problem-solver at heart and combines technical expertise with creative innovation for impactful digital spaces.

Wim

Controller

Wim is responsible for maintaining the financial overview of the company, reporting and analytics. Wim has an extensive background working in financial roles for notaries, shipping industry and engineering.

Patrick

Business Controller

Patrick is responsible for the company's planning and control cycle. This consists of financial reporting, investment analyses, and improving the company's internal control environment. He has extensive experience in (financial and control) advisory and financial auditing of SMEs in diverse sectors. Patrick is an accredited accountant in the Netherlands and holds an MSc in accounting and control from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU).

Evensen serves as a non-executive director and a company advisor. He has held several leading positions in the ICT and Telcom industry in companies like Microsoft, HP Inc, Huawei, and Palo Alto Networks. Evensen's professional experience includes work related to strategic business development, negotiations, and building various trusted alliances.

Teddy Brinkofski has been working as Product Manager and Data Analyst for over a decade, and has helped build multiple projects that have achieved more than $1M in yearly sales. Graduated from Cornell University and based in Somerset, NJ.
